With the month of February upon us, and love is in the air, we are thrilled to bring you some heartwarming updates! Currently we are supporting 6 amazing residents on their unique journeys, ensuring they have safe housing and resources they need to help them grow into thriving, productive members of our community. Out of these 6 students, 5 are seniors this year- an exciting milestone for all of them! Stay tuned for more updates as we celebrate their achievements & upcoming graduations!
Join our Nest Builders family and make a difference with a monthly donation! Support from monthly donors directly funds student care and activities, helping us provide for our residents' daily needs. Recently, our students took a break from their routine and spent some time at Whitefish Mountain Resort, enjoying the fresh air and exciting slopes. Beyond the fun, outdoor activities are essential for building strong social connections and promoting mental well-being. Did you know that these experiences play a pivotal role in the development of social capital, which can greatly influence mental health for both adolescents and adults? We’re grateful for opportunities like these that help nurture our students’ growth and resilience. A big shout out to Stumptown Snowboards for always helping us with rentals—you guys are the best!

It’s with great excitement that we introduce Axie and Alexis, the newest members of our team! Axie joined us back in November as our Administrative Assistant and has already become an invaluable part of our operations. Alexis, our new Director of Development, started just last week, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for making a difference. We’re eager to see all that they will accomplish, and we’re confident they’ll help us continue to thrive. Please join us in welcoming them both with open arms!
We understand there has been some confusion regarding funding due to recent changes. We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we are community-funded and not federally funded. Thanks to the generosity and support of our local community, we are able to continue our important work. Your contributions make a significant difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your ongoing commitment.
