About Us

What we stand for

Our mission: to provide safe, stable, and supportive housing to homeless high school students in Northwest Montana, enabling them to graduate high school and become productive members of our community.

The Sparrow’s Nest of NW MT was started with a concerned group of parents in the Flathead Valley who had been housing their children's friends and classmates who were facing homelessness. This group of dedicated individuals worked tirelessly until their vision of a home for youth facing housing insecurity came to life.

Since our formal inception in 2016 the Sparrow’s Nest has housed over 75 youth experiencing homelessness. Our innovative approach ties housing to education ensuring that youth have every opportunity to achieve their goals and reduce recidivism into homelessness. What started as a group of kind hearted individuals is now a thriving community funded non profit organization that has transformed the lives of the youth we serve.
