About Sparrow’s Nest of Northwest Montana

Sparrow’s Nest of Northwest Montana is a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit in Flathead County.  We are excited to work with our community to ensure that unaccompanied homeless high school students have a safe place to sleep at night. Our goal is to use safe and sustainable housing as a mechanism for empowering unaccompanied homeless high school students to develop the personal and professional skills required to graduate high school and become productive, contributing members of our community.

Founded in 2014, the organization began operating as its own fiscal agent in 2016.  As a result of this independence, the organization opened its first housing facility in Whitefish. Renovation on a second home in Kalispell is underway.

If you are an unaccompanied homeless high school student, or know someone who is, please see our Student Qualifications page. If you are or know a student who needs help, and meets the criteria on the page in the Valley, please visit our Student Referral page. You can also contact us below.
