Sparrow’s Nest of Northwest Montana’s annual fundraiser, “When the Night Comes,” will be on Saturday, December 8th, at Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church at 400 West California St, Kalispell, MT 59901. Prior to the sleepout, there will be a soup kitchen at 5:00 PM provided by FVCC’s Culinary Institute of Montana and then a community orientation at 5:45 PM. Doors for the soup kitchen will shut at 6:15 PM. There is no cost to attending this event, but we do ask for a small donation at the soup kitchen.
Why should you sleepout? Community, Solidarity, and Support. Help give a voice to this population on high school students living on their own.
For the Sleepout
• Participants are challenged to experience homelessness for a night. We ask that they raise funds to support the students we house. Funds need to be turned in by participants on the night of the event, December 8th.
• Sponsors are asked to donate in recognition of a participant sleeping out.
• Volunteers are asked to help with the medical tent, provide security, or help clean up.
Please indicate on this form whether you are a participant, sponsor, or interested in volunteering.
