Kalispell will host the Montana Bar for a summit on the legal barriers facing unaccompanied homeless youth in the state.
Kalispell's HIRE Committee (Homeless Interagency Resource and Education ) will be sponsoring a fall connect event. Community Connect will provide resources to individuals struggling with housing in the valley.

Whitefish Community Foundation invites you to celebrate the Great Fish Community Challenge by running or walking for your favorite charity in the family-friendly Great Fish Color Run. The race starts at 10:00 a.m. Enjoy a free lunch and entertainment. Make plans to visit the interactive nonprofit booths at the Community Fair to learn more about how the Great Fish nonprofits benefit our community. Help your favorite participating charity earn points toward a bonus grant by organizing a team on their behalf. Creativity and costumes are encouraged! The 5K is a COLOR run and participants will be covered with a non-toxic colored powder, so prepare to get a little messy and have a great time. For those who want to remain clean during the race, the color stations can be bypassed. A commemorative race t-shirt is included with your registration while supplies last, so sign up early!
